A ghost, a witch and two dragons

Halloween was super fun this year. As you can see, Denny and I decided to invest a total $3.00 in our costumes and dress up with the boys. Needless to say, we had a great time! The boys both wanted to be dragons and couldn't wait to trick or treat. Poor little Cade got tired of all the walking and had to be carried back to the house. That is whe the fun really began...ALL THAT CANDY!!!

Our Pumpkin Carving Tradition

For the past 7 years, our family has carved our pumpkins just before Halloween. So this year we went all out! We carved our pumpkins, baked chocolate chip cookies and stayed up to watch Monster vs. Aliens Halloween TV special. The boys were so excited!

Last year, we carved our pumpkins and about 6 months later we had a pumpkin vine grow unexpectedly from the leftover seeds. So, we only got two small pumpkins from it, but one of them is pictured here. Needless to say, the boys went crazy throwing the seeds out in the grass in hopes for another pumpkin to grow again next year...we will see.

Bonfire Fun in the Fall

We always love having bonfires at Nee Nee and PP's. Here we are once again, roasting dogs, marshmellows and just having fun. Thanks Nee Nee and PP for the fun memories.

Beau's Fall Program at Preschool

This past week Beau participated in his first "school" program! He had been singing his songs for weeks and we were just so proud of him! This was the first time he had ever "performed" in front of a large group of people before. I have to admit,I do believe he has gotten the performing bug honest! He did so well, big smiles and all! And yes, there were tears in his mommie's eyes the whole time!
Nee Nee and PP came to see him and Grandma Vic and Daddy were able to take off work to see him too!
