The "Big Hill" and "Cannon"

One beautiful day this week, the boys and I enjoyed the weather by climbing what we now know as the "Big Hill". It is a Historic Confederate Battlefield and I hate to say it, but I drive past it at least once a day, and I had never been to it. So being me of course, I took my camera and my boys along to go explore. So glad I did. We love being outdoors and getting "our" or should I say..."their" energy out. At the top of ridge there sits an old cannon, which peeked my eldest son's attention. You should have heard me trying to my inquisitive four year old about war and the functions of weapons...yeah, next time, I will bring their daddy along.
